<image:caption>Hi! I’m Lauren Sogard, owner and head trainer of All Dogs Balanced Training in Indianapolis, Indiana. My first dog Frank ignited my passion for dog training when it became apparent he needed more help and training than the average dog. Through six years of intense self study, evolving my training and ‘learning the hard way’, I have combined many top trainers’ techniques and found balanced dog training. It changed our lives! Now I have set out on a mission to change other peoples lives. Helping YOU live a balanced, stress free life with your dog.</image:caption>

<image:title>Tools We Use - crate</image:title>
<image:caption>The crate is the safest place to leave your dog when you’re out of the house! Dogs thrive on structure and having a safe place to relax with no worries/creating their own jobs like getting into the trash, eating socks/couches/door frames, barking, guarding and pacing the house.</image:caption>

<image:title>Tools We Use - K&H Place bed</image:title>
<image:caption>‘Place’ command and duration work is essential for creating the calm state of mind in dogs. It is also probably the most valuable command for high anxiety/energy/anxious/behavior modification dogs and or dogs who live in busy households with lots of kids and or guests coming and going.</image:caption>

<image:title>Tools We Use - E-collar technologies e-collar</image:title>
<image:caption>The E-Collar is our state of the art tool used to create clear, reliable expectations for the dog and empower the owners, knowing they can properly and calmly handle any situation in any setting with their dog. With proper conditioning and training the E-Collar becomes an invisible leash and allows for on and off leash reliability!</image:caption>

<image:title>Tools We Use - herm sprenger prong collar</image:title>
<image:caption>This tool looks harsh, but the Herm Springer Prong collar is specifically designed so you can not hurt the dog with it!! Flat buckle collars, harnesses, martingales, and even gentle leaders can crush dogs wind pipes or crank their necks and even cause more pulling, arousal and intensity in the dog. The Prong (with 4’-6’ Nylon or Leather lead) is also what we use to teach the dog proper direction of commands in conjunction with the E-Collar.</image:caption>

I will provide your dog with the e-collar and bill it with training. In general the ET300 Collar Mini Educator 1/2 Mile Remote Dog Trainer (pictured left) will be the recommended collar to purchase. Why might you need a different collar than the standard recommended ET300? Your dog is very small or large in size, extra stubborn or sensitive, serious behavior modification training, you own multiple dogs or will be adding another dog to the family in the near future, owners who are Left Handed may prefer the longer remote style/shape of the (EZ-900 Easy Educator 1/2 Mile Remote Dog Trainer)</image:caption>

<image:title>Tools to Buy - Crate</image:title>
<image:caption>Prices and Sizes vary depending on the size of dog. Your dog may require a different type or specialty crate depending on size and certain behavioral tendencies. I will inform you of the specific size, number of doors (1 or 2) ect that your dog needs. (Of course the training will cover these behavioral issues. However, some dogs do better in more enclosed crates with less visibility. Some stronger dogs need heavier duty built crates.) If you would like advice on choices of crate pads/beds to purchase I am happy to recommend a few options.</image:caption>
